Anime lovers make friends

A group of anime fans in Perth are turning their love of anime into something positive and creating a new social platform called Anime Friends.

“We’ve got about 30 people who are just fans and they’re really passionate about it and they want to see more people get involved and become involved,” said James Haggard.

“It’s about creating a better social platform where people can interact and meet and meet people.”

The app is currently in its beta phase, but it has already raised over $4,000.

“Our first goal is to raise enough to buy a small house, but the goal is a full house,” Mr Haggards said.

“For us, it’s a huge opportunity to show people that we are really passionate people and we love the medium.”

I think that’s really exciting and really exciting.

“Mr Haggars teenage son Andrew was the first to use the app and said it was great to meet new people.”

When I first came to the park, I got to meet a lot of people who were very supportive and gave me tips on how to do things in the park,” he said.

A similar app has also been launched in Melbourne.
