Facebook has announced it will launch a new app to help users keep track of their friends on the social networking site.
The app, Facebook Friend Maker, will let users share information with friends via an Android or iOS app that can be accessed on the Facebook app.
“We are committed to giving people the ability to share and manage their relationships on Facebook as part of their everyday lives,” Facebook said in a statement on Tuesday.
The company’s Friend Finder app lets users search their Facebook friends for similar friends, photos and videos.
The Friend Maker app is part of the company’s efforts to build a network of friends.
It comes as Facebook is working on a rival app for users to connect with each other.
Facebook Messenger, the company first to go live with Messenger, is a messaging app that lets users share messages and photos.
The Facebook Messenger app lets you message friends using your phone number, address and password.
Facebook said the Friend Maker tool will be available in the next few weeks.
