It was a clash of goalkeepers that produced the decisive goal in the second half of Saturday’s Serie A clash between Juventus and Sampdori.
Gianluca Di Marzio put the Bianconeri ahead in the 31st minute when he struck from outside the box after Antonio Rudiger had been fouled.
But Sampdorio’s Andrea Pirlo struck the rebound just before the break and was followed by Gianluca Grosso’s goal to seal the win.
Sampdoria’s Andrea Perin scored his third goal of the season in the 89th minute, before Di Marzo’s winner.
Di Marza is now just one goal shy of his 200th Serie A goal.
